John W. and
Ann McLeod, Southeast Regional Vice-President hosted their
Annual McLeod family reunion. There were fifty-two present at
their home in Madison, Florida, on April 17, 2010. Not all were
McLeods or direct descendants, some are close family friends.
The MacLeod
tent and the Harris and Lewis flags were very popular items
during the day. It was successful in that it drew a lot of the
family to the tent to see just what we do at the highland games.
Of those
present there were several Clan MacLeod members: Dee Dee
Wallace, Don and Ana McLeod. Dee Dee's grandmother was a McLeod
and Don's Aunt Martha McLeod hosted Chief Dame Flora MacLeod in
Thomasville, Ga. during her tour in the 1950s.
