The North Texas Irish Festival has become one of the largest and most beloved Irish festival in the country, and certainly the biggest Celtic gathering in the Southwest. This event is held at Fair Park in Dallas. It has grown over the years and now occupies the Centennial Building and the Creative Arts Building and fills up everything in between. A few years ago the Scots were invited to come and set up their tents and participate in this effort to promote and preserve the traditions of Irish and Scottish Cultures. All are invited to come and enjoy the music, dance, drama, food and beverages available throughout the Festival grounds. The Clan MacLeod was represented this year at their tent by Doug Beaton and Gloria McLeod. The picture shows Jennie McLeod Kennedy, Barbara Powell and Doug Beaton enjoying the camaraderie
