BURNS NIGHT SUPPER, FRIENDLY OAKS BED AND BREAKFAST, VICTORIA,
TEXAS
Bill and CeeBee McLeod hosted the Eleventh Annual Burns Night Supper at their
Friendly Oaks B&B in Victoria, Texas, on January 26, 2008. The haggis was
presented by Bill McLeod, the Address to the Haggis was by Larry Sears and
piping by Bill Jones. The Scottish Bill O’ Fare included the haggis, neeps ‘n’
tatties, pecan pie and other delicious treats with plenty of wine for toasting
the Queen, lead by Don Mack McLeod, the past clan President, piping lead by Bill
Jones, and Robert Burns lead by Bill McLeod. The Drambeauties entertained with
traditional Scottish songs. The evening ended with the group singing Auld
Lange Syne and vowing to repeat the celebration next year,
