2009 Alexandria Virginia Mid - Year Meeting Dec. 4 - Dec. 5

    Come join your fellow Clan Members for a little bit of business and some socializing in Historic and Charming Alexandria, Virginia. Mid-Year Meetings are always planned for the first weekend in the month of December along with the City of Old Alexandria's Annual Scottish Christmas Walk Event. 

     The Dunvegan Foundation Meeting is on Friday morning (9:00 am), Council Meeting on Friday afternoon (1:00 pm).  Hospitality Room opens after the meeting, in room 340 and dinner on your own.   Saturday morning, December 5, all Clan Members should meet for the Scottish Christmas Walk (see detail information below) .

Sharf Party – Gone but not Forgotten

    I would like to thank Charlotte and James Sharf for their many years of hospitality to our MacLeod Clan.  They have opened their home to the Clan both before and after the Parade and made us all feel welcomed and entertained.

    This year Charlotte and James will not have the After-Walk Party at their home. We will all miss this highlight for our weekend. Hopefully, we will see them at the parade, so we all can thank them for their past years of hospitality in their beautiful home.

Hotel Details:

Arrangements have been made at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, Historic District at 625 First Street, Alexandria, Virginia for the Clan MacLeod USA Council Meeting. The Group room reservations have been made for December 3 to December 5. The cost will be $119.00 per night plus tax  with the cut off date of November 13, 2009 for group room reservations. The Hotel's number is (703) 548-6300. Room 340 has been reserved for the Hospitality Suite. (The same room as last year). Arrangements have also been made for a Meeting Room.
